donald's illustrator, kwa-kwa-kwa :)

If you are interested in children illustrations you have to know him - Don Rosa. He's responsible for stories about Donald Duck, which was reading by most of people from my generation. So it's nice to recall it :).

folk Sanna Annuka

At the beginning I taught Sanna Annukka is from Russia. That kind of patterns seems to be like Russian, and then it turn out that she's from Finland. Her illustrations have something very folk and modern for me. Besides they are so colourful, so I'm sure they would great on the wall :).

funny gemma

I like that kind of art, because they are so funny. But I can't explain exactly why. There are some illustrators who makes me laugh. Gemma Correll is one of them. I couldn't say that her illustrations are beautiful, but they make me laugh and it's also very important form me, when I look for inspirations.

beautiful ceramics

I love painted plates. I think, I'm gonna collect it if only we move to our new flat.

i like the city

I like city's illustrations. This time I spotted the work of Lotta Nieminen - the Finnish illustrator and graphic designer.

Ben Newman

When I saw that girl and boy in the picture below I started laughing, they are so funny and playful. That's way I think Ben Newman is great illustrator, because he make mu laugh. It's important to make illustrations, which touch my feelings :)

mexican style by alberto cerriteno

Alberto Cerriteno is a Mexican illustrator who has nice description on his webside:
"strongly inspired by urban vinyl toys, alternative cartoons, and the pop surrealism movement, Alberto CerriteƱo has developed his own very personal technique and style, having always present a delicate hints of traditional Mexican artistic influences in his management of rich textures and decorative patterns".
For me the most important is rich of his illustration. There is so many shapes on every illustration, that I have to look it through carefully. That's way I like it.

johnny yanok, funny big eyes :)

I'm delighted with those funny and colourful and charming and so on .... illustrations made by Johnny Yanok. I love big eyes many of characters from illustrations :). Definitely he become one of my favourite illustrator.

Gwen Keraval

I don't understand any word from his French website, but I love her illustration and I'd read book with her illustrations with pleasure. Gwen Keraval is a great French children's illustrators.

my love to Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake

I love books of Roald Dahl, and because of him I also love Quentin Blake's illustartions, even if sometimes they are a little bit "ugly":). Quentin Blake is an English cartoonist and children's book illustrator. He's famous for the Roald Dahl books that he illustrated.

finally i found him :)

I found Matte Stephens long time ago. I added his blog to my list of bookmarks and then I lost it. I copied some his illustrations, but I didn't know what was his name, so it lasts me a lot of time to find him. And finally  I did it. I like Matte's illustration's because of its simplicity. I tried to paint that building like Matte, but it only seems to be so easy. Any of my pictures don't look so nice like his.

cards which i'd hang on my wall

British illustrator Chad Woodward made six fabulous greeting card for urban graphic. if only i could, a would hang them on the wall. They have perfectly well-matched colors and there is exactly enough shapes, which create illustrations on the cards.

the most beautiful hens :)

Galia Bernstein definitely paints the most beautiful hens a have ever seen :)

everything started from her :)

One day, I was bored and I was surfing the internet. Then I found her blog - Orange You Lucky :) Canadian illustrator Helen Dardik is now one of my favourite illustrator. Her illustrations or patterns are, I would say, full and "complicated":). There is many different and colorfull figures, that it takes quite a lot of time to look through every pattern or illustration. I also owe Helen Dardik a new hobby - painting. Because of her I've started painting some illustrations, and thank's her I have a lot of fun and rest :)

cartoons and sensuality

I like Annette Marnant, because she  make sweet, cute and simple illustations which look like they were just painted. What's more for me she's got some special ability to paint ideal characters to cartoons ....

and some sensual illustrations of women...

my favourite polish illustrator

I found him by chance. At first I thought he's from UK or some other country, and then, to my surprise, it turn out that he's from Poland.  I like his illusttrations, because of their's reaviling simplicity. For me, Adam Quest has great gift to make illustarions which make us think.

Colorfull illustrations of Catalina Estrada

I found her illustration in some Paulo Coelho Diary. I didn't buy the book, because I don't like it, but I fall in love with Catalina Estrada's  illustrations - illustrator from Columbia. On her website, there is written: "Catalina brings all the colors and power of Latin-American folklore and refines it with a subtle touch of European sophistication". And I agree with every word in that phrase.

That's way she will be first on my blog :)
